Getting Free Stuff (and Money) Is Way Cool

What’s not to love about getting free stuff (and money)? It’s way cool!
I got so into the research for this blog that it took me longer to write than it should have! I was swept into a world of online ways to get free stuff like products that I use every day!
I didn’t know that you can get free stuff on your birthday? Did you?
Hey, even if it isn’t your birthday, check out some of the great information below and start saving some of that hard-earned money by getting free stuff!
1. Enroll in loyalty programs
Many manufacturers have programs to reward loyal customers. In general, the programs allow consumers to collect codes found inside the product package.
The steps for joining are as follows:
- Buy the product that you like
- Go to the manufacturer’s website and create an account for their reward program.
- Enter the code(s) found inside the product.
- Earn points.
Some of the customer rewards programs include:
2. Participate in online surveys
Online surveys are a great way to earn cash and rewards while lending your voice and opinion to helping determine what businesses will bring to the market for the consumer.
FocusGroups.org is a perfect example of this. After qualifying and participating in any one of 150 survey listings, we will pay you by either a VISA card or check.
Other online survey companies provide similar services.
3. Use coupons
- Freesamples.org - They claim to update their site every 24 hours so that you can access the latest and greatest free samples.
- GoodRX.com - Use their coupons to stop paying too much for your prescriptions.
- Coupons.com - Save money on groceries.
- Thekrazycouponlady.com - Learn how to coupon by using this fun and informative app.
- Retailmenot.com - Today’s trends - big deals and savings.
- Couponmom.com - “Cut your grocery bill in half!”

4. Use Credit Card Points
*Disclaimer: We are not offering advice on getting cash. Consult a qualified tax professional, attorney, and credit card company terms of service before proceeding.
- Maximize specific spending depending on the card. For example, if a particular card offers 3x membership points on booking directly with airlines v. another card that only offers 2x.
- Some cards will offer a sign-up bonus that gives you a large number of points.
- Some cards offer referral bonuses if you, the cardholder, get a friend to apply for the card.
You can redeem points for many things:
- Cashback
- Statement credits
- Travel purchases
- Gift cards
- Online Retailers
- Charitable donations
5. Sign up for mailing lists and get free promotions.
Here are some places to go:
- Swagbucks - You earn points by searching online (a favorite pastime anyway!), shopping, watching videos, and more. With the points you earn, you get gift cards to popular stores like Amazon, Target, and many more. A big plus - you can get cash transferred to your Paypal account. You must be 13 years + to join Swagbucks.
- Freeflys.com - One of the more popular freebie sites can be seen regularly on the Today Show. You can browse free samples, see coupons for everyday items and sweepstakes entries,
- Similac - For those of you who are parents or expect a baby, this site gives savings and benefits, like free formula samples and formula coupons, and provides tips and education. You can never educate yourself enough.
- Thefreesite.com - These guys are one of the oldest freebie sites. You will most find free apps and downloads along with seasonal items.
- Ilovefreethings.com - This accessible site offers hundreds of pages on how to get free products and samples. They also have a search button that allows you to search by specific keywords if you’re looking for a particular product.
- Freebies.org - You get a choice here. You can get free samples, or you can choose to join as a member for possible giveaways.

- Fr.ee - This site offers an array of products for baby, pets, beauty, and more
- Totallyfreestuff.com - Established in 1998, “freebies, coupons, deals, and more”.
Consider the following before you go for free samples:
- Make sure any site you go to is legitimate. For example, look for the sites that when they say, “get this for free,” they will send it to you without having you take a survey (unless it’s a survey company) or make a separate purchase to qualify.
- If a site sends you to a secondary site for free samples, make sure the secondary site is legit.
- ALWAYS read the fine print.
And finally
With all of these great ideas, be sure to do your due diligence when going to a site. There are so many good and decent companies making great offers, but there are also those who aren’t so great. Just practice prudence, and you’ll be fine. Ready? Set. Go! Become a member of FocusGroups.org and never miss a chance to get free products and get paid for your opinion.
