Description

Clinical trial for people who've been diagnosed with High Cholesterol and currently taking medication for high cholesterol. Patient must be at high risk for cardiovascular disease and/or diabetes. Meets patient-reportable statin intolerance criteria as reports prior statin usage and discontinuing statin therapy at a physician’s recommendation due to side effects or intolerance. Or reports qualifying symptoms such as muscle pain while taking a statin. Open for men and women, ages 18-85, in select cities nationwide. If you have heart disease or high cholesterol, you may qualify for local research studies testing a study medication not available from your regular doctor.
