8 Week Game Play Study We are conducting a paid study on video games and are looking for participants both locally in San Diego and across the Nation. For this study we are looking for 18-45 year old men and women who currently play video games. If qualified, this study would consist of taking part in an 8 week game play interaction. This would involve, see below: • Completing an 15-20 minute online survey • Download and Play a game (free) for 8 weeks • Send in weekly screenshots and/or pictures of your home screen showing your progress each week so our client can track your game play experience All participants who complete the 8 weeks of game play and above tasks, will be mailed a check for $150 at the end of the 8 weeks. During the 8 weeks of game play you may be asked to participate in additional interviews or surveys. Each additional interview or survey will compensate as well. The extra compensation will be added to your total incentive at the end of the 8 weeks. The additional interviews or surveys will compensate you as follows: • If you live in San Diego County (CA), you may be asked to take part in a 2 hour in person interview being held at the Sony building in the Sorrento Valley area. If asked to do this interview there will be different days and times you can chose from so we can usually work around your schedule. For your time and participation in the extra interview, we will add another $100 to your total incentive. • If you are not living in San Diego County (CA), you may be asked to take part in a 2 hour FaceTime or Skype interview. If asked to do this interview there would, of course, be different days and times to chose from. For your time and participation in the extra interview, we will add another $100 to your total incentive. • Everyone may be asked to complete additional online surveys, similar to the survey you take at the beginning of this study. The online questions take about 15-20 minutes to complete and for your time and participation in this, we will add another $50, per survey, to your total incentive.
